OUR STRATEGY
We believe the future of luxury hospitality lies in small-scale, boutique and lifestyle-driven properties rather than standardised large-format hotels.
Our strategy is to identify and develop value-add boutique assets or distressed assets in emerging destinations ahead of the broader market, applying disciplined value-add execution at every stage to generate returns for both the firm and our partners.
This approach also gives investors outside the hospitality sector direct access to a growing, differentiated asset class — through curated opportunities led by dedicated sector expertise.
Beyond direct acquisition, we partner with existing asset owners to help them access liquidity or secure the right financial partner, and we work alongside selected family offices and private investors to bring them into these opportunities as partners in the investment itself.
OUR TEAM
With over 15 years working jointly and independently on hospitality mandates for royal family investment vehicles across the Middle East, family offices in Switzerland, as well as for leading groups including Belmond, Kempinski, Swiss Deluxe Hotels, Aman, Katara Hospitality and more, the team have advised on the acquisition, asset management, and repositioning of hotel assets. They have since assembled a team of specialists from across their experiences to execute Varco Hospitality Partners' own hotel developments and its clients' investments and projects, applying this expertise to small-scale luxury and boutique hospitality assets in Italy and Switzerland, and emerging tourism destinations across Africa and Asia such as Madagascar and Indonesia, selected for their underlying demand depth and untapped potential, rather than speculative supply growth.
